Add 123mail mailbox to Mac
Step-by-step instructions to add your 123mail mailbox on your Mac.
Open Mail
Open the Mail app from the Dock or via Finder.
Add account
Go to the Mail menu in the top left and choose Add Account...
Choose account type
Select Other Mail Account... and click 'Continue'.
Enter details
Enter your name, full email address and password. Click 'Sign In'.
Server information
Mail cannot verify the account automatically and asks for more information. That is normal.
Enter your full email address as username, choose IMAP as account type and enter my.123mail.be as both incoming and outgoing mail server. Click 'Sign In'.
Choose apps and complete
Select the apps you want to use with this account (Mail, and optionally Notes) and click 'Done'.
Note
Mail sets up a secure connection automatically. Problems sending or receiving? Go to Mail > Settings > Accounts > Server Settings, uncheck 'Automatically manage connection settings' and enter port 993 (incoming) and 465 (outgoing) with 'Use TLS/SSL' enabled.
